Thoughts are just thoughts, feelings are feelings, more trust into feelings, feelings over thoughts.
A lot of discussions, opinions and thoughts are published about the latest, the young generations but what about us? What’s going on in our heads, thoughts, feelings? Social and business impact, better world contribution, focus, work-life balance, resilience – I think it’s more about inside and outside impact. What you carry inside, you carry outside.
Either you do (career) changes when you are 23 or 55, I’ve learned that there are some key values we should focus on. Gratitude. Listening to yourself. Getting surrounded by people who give honest support. Being clear on your inner and outer voice. Everybody has a voice, everybody can stand up, speak up, show empathy, listen, act, change.
What you carry inside, you carry outside
into the world, into your daily life, into your business world, to your friends and beloved ones.
It’s not about creating something new everyday, creating impact everyday, it’s a lot about the little things – the little things in life, how you handle your daily routine, how you speak with family members, friends, colleagues. If you want the change, be present. Be grateful. What I’ve learned within my first years of working and studying in an international environment with different people, different challenges and different mindsets: Sharing should be more appreciated, more supported, more cared about.
To create an impact everybody speaks about, we need to share more – in an honest and transparent way. Sharing knowledge, sharing resources, sharing more emotions, more feelings, more laughters, more insights, more hidden talents, more doubts, more fear, more ideas. With this converted model of a sharing economy I’m quite confident, that we would be able to create an impact – an impactful learning atmosphere, confident and open minded people who love to share ideas and knowledge, a sustainable and steady value system in organisations which is more important than a hierarchy system today.
